Unless otherwise mentioned, all measurements for the recipes equals the measures as per following table :

 

Liquid Measure :

1 tbsp = 3 tsp = 15 ml
1 tsp = 5 ml

1/8 cup = 2 tbsp
¼ cup = 4 tbsp
½ cup = 100 ml = 8 tbsp
1 cup = 200 ml = 16 tbsp

 

Metric :

* For Butter

  100 gms = ½ cup

 

Measuring ounces :

1 ounce = 25 gms = 4 tbsp
8 ounce = 225 gms
10 ounce = 275 gms
1 fluid ounce = 2 tbsp

 

Oven Temperatures :

* Very Low

110 C = 225 F = Gas Mark ¼
120 C = 250 F = Gas Mark ½

* Low

140 C = 275 F = Gas Mark 1
150 C = 300 F = Gas Mark 2

* Moderate

160 C = 325 F = Gas Mark 3
180 C = 350 F = Gas Mark 4

* Moderate Hot

190 C = 375 F = Gas Mark 5
200 C = 400 F = Gas Mark 6
